The service

London Eye Hospital will run regular out-patient consultations at Castle Quay Medical Practice. This means that you can book an appointment to see a relevant ophthalmic specialist to discuss any area of eye care without leaving Jersey. The appointment will take place with a consultant surgeon and optometrist within Castle Quay Medical Practice.

You will have the opportunity to discuss all treatment options including the latest technology and surgical techniques which are currently not available on the NHS some of which have been pioneered by our surgeons.

Depending on the outcome of the consultation you may decide to arrange treatment or surgery with London Eye Hospital. Any surgery will take place in London but aftercare can take place locally to reduce the inconvenience and cost of travel.

Detailed brochures for the services offered by London Eye Hospital are available from Castle Quay Medical Practice or you could ask your doctor about the services on offer.

Getting to and from the Hospital

When to arrive

It is likely that on the day of surgery there will be other people scheduled for procedures at specific times, we would politely request that you aim to arrive at the time allocated by the surgical team, arriving early for your surgery unfortunately does not mean the surgery will be completed earlier than the time scheduled.

Who to bring with you

You should always bring someone with you on the day of surgery, If you wish to bring more than one person we would be grateful if you advise a member of our team prior to the day of surgery.

Disabled access

The entrance and the theatre are located on the ground floor of our building so we are fully equipped to deal with wheelchair users. If you are using a wheelchair on the day of surgery we would be grateful if you advise a member of our team prior to the day of surgery.

Parking

Short-term meter parking in surrounding streets and long-term car parking, at Masterpark car parks in Cavendish Square and at the rear of Harley Street, is available.
