What if I have Already had Cataract Surgery?
Many people who have already had cataract surgery will be enjoying their improved vision,
especially for distance, but will still be using reading glasses or varifocals for near and
intermediate vision. A simple operation can produce a much greater freedom from glasses: the
Acri. Vitalis implant.
This lens is positioned in the eye over the existing implant
and gives the freedom from glasses achieved by multifocal
implants to patients who have already had cataract
surgery.
The procedure takes 10 minutes under topical anaesthesia
(meaning only eye drops are used and no needle injections
are required).
